When casually surfing the net the other night, flipping about hither and thither, I made my normal stop on Drew McClellan’s site to see what he had to say. From there I popped through to Klaus Komenda’s site. Boy, was I pleased with what I found there! In a post about Debugging IE, Klaus listed a variety of tools for doing so. Most importantly, he pointed out a Developer Toolbar for Internet Explorer, something akin to Firebug for Firebox (which Drew revealed to me at a recent Oxford Geek Nights session.) Brilliant stuff!
For those of who don’t know, developer toolbars are great tools for inspecting the CSS and page construction of websites. This sort of in-depth inspection is very handy when trying to build a similar feature or element on a new website.
